We had 3 people in our party on Saturday, April 14th at approximately 7:00 pm. When we walked in, we didn't see a hostess area but a friendly young lady was in the room & asked how many and sat us. Shortly after that our waitress came by and asked for our drink order. She was nice and got the drinks quickly. When we were looking at the menu, we noticed how expensive it was. $17.99 for a french dip sandwich! The steaks were also overpriced! My brother ordered a $28 NY steak, I ordered a sirloin steak ($18) and my mother said she wanted the NY but then I reminded her she wanted the sirloin & we told the waitress while she was taking the order. We each got a baked potato (which were good) and a salad (also good). We wondered why there were not any veggies on the plate but thought maybe the salad was the veggie. (I just looked at the menu and it said it included seasonal veggies.) The steaks however, were horrible!!! First of all, my mother received a NY afterall, my brother received a NY but none of us have ever seen a NY steak like that before. His wasn't cooked properly, 1/2 was greyish and 1/2 was pink. He asked for it to be medium rare. My steak looked more like a filet mignon but wasn't. It was supposed to be a sirloin. It was probably the best tasting of the 3 though. And, my mother ordered hers medium well and it was well done. Our waitress came by and asked how our meal was and we said, eh and told her about his steak. He said he didn't think it was a NY and she said oh yes, it's a NY. We both said it doesn't look like any we've ever seen. She did offer to bring him a new one & he declined. We all just wanted to finish and leave. She apoligized and asked if he would like dessert, he declined. Because of the quality & high priced steak, he felt like we got ripped off.
